SeaLandAire Corporate History

SeaLandAire Technologies, Inc was founded in May of 1997 by a small group of engineers from the R&D branch of a leading sonobuoy manufacturer. SeaLandAire’s mixture of experienced engineers and skilled young talent provide a unique set of skills necessary to bring new technology to market at competitive cost. Since incorporating SeaLandAire has grown to over 20 employees and is looking forward to continued growth. SeaLandAire’s corporate timeline:

• May 1997 :: Incorporated
• May 1997 :: James Widehofer elected President
• May 1998 :: Won 1st Phase I SBIR
• July 2002 :: Reached $1M per year sales
• Nov 2004 :: President James Widenhofer retires
• Nov 2004 :: David Sparks elected as President
• April 2005 :: Won 1st open BAA
• June 2005 :: Began plans for new building
• May 2006 :: Won 1st Phase II SBIR
